Our group therapy program offers a range of opportunities for support, psycho-education and skill-building to facilitate healthier living.
Current groups include:
- Compassion Cultivation Training (CCT)
Mondays: 1:30 – 3:15 pm
8-week training will include guided daily meditation, visualization, and breathing practices to develop loving-kindness, empathy, and compassion for oneself and others.
- Inner Healing
Mondays, 4pm – 5:30pm
Gain confidence, increase self-esteem, and learn ways to make closer connections to others.
- Write After the Silence
Terrified of writing? Love to write? It doesn’t matter! We all have something to share and this group will provide exercises to get the pen flowing
- Gender Spectrum
Build community with others who identify as trans, genderqueer or gender-variant, and those questioning their position on the gender spectrum.
- Seeking Safety
Thursdays, 3:45 – 5pm; starting March, 2017!
Learn new skills to feel safer and reduce the impact of PTSD and substance use on your quality of life.
- Welcoming Women (ages 55+)
*NEXT ROUND starts MARCH, 2017, 8 week group*
Build connections, discuss life as “women of a certain age”, meet new friends. Cis- and trans-women welcome.

In order to participate we require a brief mental health screening to determine eligibility.
We encourage anyone attending group therapy to also be engaged in individual therapy either at Lyon-Martin or elsewhere. Please click here for more information on our mental health services.
